After the open call, when will we know we’re moving on to the second round?

Those who are selected for callbacks will be told at the time of their audition or shortly thereafter.  Callbacks will be scheduled approximately 1-3 days after the open call.

If I am selected to participate on the show, what is my time commitment?

If you are selected to be on the show, you will need to be available for the production for up to 1 to 6 weeks at the producer’s discretion. We might need you approximately four (4) to six (6) days sometime before the show shoots, currently intended to begin around September 2015 to October 2015 to be designated by Producer (all dates subject to change in the sole discretion of Producer)

What can we expect during the casting process?

If we see your casting application and video or meet you in person, we may contact you with information about the next steps in the process. If you hear from us, you may be interviewed via Skype or called in for a callback at one of our casting cities. You all may be asked to complete additional paperwork. Casting is inherently subjective. Given high interest and volume, unfortunately we can’t guarantee that we will be able to review all casting applications and/or videos or see everyone who shows up at an open call.

You must be 21 years of age or older as of May 1st, 2015;

Is there any limit on the number of videos I submit?

For now, no.  Please be aware, we will call you if we need specific additional footage from you.

Do you charge for applying to be a participants?

There is no fee for applying to be participants on our show. If anyone asks you to pay a fee to gain entry into an open call, be moved to the front of the line, or for us to consider you, please report this to a casting team member immediately.

Is there a charge for parking at the open call venue(s)?

There may be a parking fee at the venue. The parking fees are set and collected by the venue manager. We have nothing to do with the parking fees or facilities.

Should I send in a video submission if I plan to attend an open call?

No, it is not required. However, sending a video could act as a second chance if you were not selected for a one-on-one interview at the open call.

What if I cannot attend an open call or make a video?

Attending an open call or submitting a video may increase your chances of getting selected to participate in the show. However, if you can't attend an open call or submit a video, this will not eliminate you from the casting process. If you do not have a video camera, we suggest you look into your local resources (i.e., borrowing one from friends or family, library, film school students, etc).

STE 279

HOLLYWOOD, CA 90038

What should I bring to the open call?

Bring your completed contestant application (which can be PRINTED on our website).  Also bring a non-returnable, recent photo of yourself. It is a good idea to bring water and snacks for your wait in line.

What should I wear to the open call?

Please be presentable and look your best. Wear something that best represents you as well as something you are able to move in during your audition. You should be prepared to dance. You will be asked to learn a short routine and then a short freestyle dance. If asked to stay, there will be a short in-person interview held afterward.

What should I expect at the open call?

We will be giving everyone participating in the open casting call a number. Our casting team will ask the entire group present learn a dance routine all at once. Then, we will divide the group into smaller groups to perform in front of our casting team. Here, we will begin selecting candidates to conduct short in-person interviews. If selected, call backs will take place on one of the following three days (SUNDAY, MONDAY OR TUESDAY).

Will I be notified if I am selected or not?

You will be notified if you are selected but unfortunately, we cannot contact those who are not chosen.

THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK!!!
